Pray for Gaza

We all know the atrocities of Israel against the Palestinian people, so I wouldn’t be spending much time explaining the history of what’s going on. Today what’s going on in Gaza is despicable, all we can is pray and make dua for the innocent people being slaughtered by those cruel people. May Allah help the people of Palestine and in the city of Gaza.Ameen. My heart breaks for them, but this world is only a temporary abode, and we return to Allah. That’s the only thing guaranteed, death. We will all die one day and be held accountable for what we did in this world. To remain silent is not right. Speak up against evil is the least we can do to stop the cruelty of Israel. So, let’s show solidarity with the people of Palestine. I did this to do my part and show that I care about the injustices that are being done to the Palestinian people of Gaza. Make dua for Gaza today and always.

Stress and Chasing your dreams

There is inherent in each individual the ability to progress forward. We all have hopes, aspirations and dreams of attaining a certain goal in life. Sometimes, there stands in your goal obstacles in the form of people, such as certain teachers who are set to deter you from your dream. I’m facing such a situation right now, but insha’Allah, the almighty will see me through this. No matter how much certain people try to block you from attaining your dreams, if Allah meant for it to happen, it will happen.

As a human being, it’s hard not to worry at times, but I have to constantly remind myself that Allah is the one who is in control of my life. Everything I am going through right now was already written for me. As a Muslim, I have to believe in the concept of “Al-qadar”, or destiny. No matter what, everything is written for us, only Allah through our supplication can change certain things. That’s why dua is considered such a powerful tool. Being an immigrant, and Muslim is really difficult in America. It’s not always difficult, but we sometimes become targetted by naturally bigotted people who might have some power over us via school or work. They might choose to target you because they don’t want you to succeed, to them you are the “enemy”. You trying to better your life to them is a no no , because they desire to see you below them. Well at least that’s my two cents! Maybe I am delusional, and think that everyone who is against me hates me because I’m Muslim, but whatever the case, I’m not going to let them win, insha’Allah. I have to use this as a motivation to become a better person, to improve my life in many areas that I have to.

Whether you’re Muslim or not, there are always going to be difficult people that come into our lives. The key is to not let it get to you, because a person shouldn’t have that much power to get to you. You have to go for what you want, and pass all those obstacles. It’s a must. I truly want to not only work for Jannah (Paradise) by pleasing Allah, but I want to be a better human being in this world in all areas as much as I can. It might be hard, but nothing is impossible. All things are possible if we believe, and work hard towards it. If we fall down, we have to pick ourselves up. We can’t give up because of stress and things not going our way. There has to always be a way.
